Sean Gordon – Managing Director
Sean Gordon is the Managing Director and owner of Gidgee Group a 100% Indigenous owned business. Sean is applying his considerable leadership skills to drive Indigenous development and to establish independence through creating real opportunities and benefits for individuals, organisations, and communities. Sean is currently Chief Executive Officer of Awabakal Enterprise Ltd an organisation established on the 1st June 2021 to drive economic development in the Hunter region.
A Wangkumarra/Barkindji man, Sean is a strong advocate of self-determination for Indigenous communities, and for social, cultural, and economic empowerment. Sean recently completed employment with Darkinjung Local Aboriginal Land Council where he served as the Chief Executive Officer for nine years, a leading NSW Land Council focused on improving the health and wellbeing of the NSW Central Coast community.
